ACM Approval of Degrees Not Listed
In order to determine if it is possible to add your program of interest to those available to the residents in your state via the ACM, you must contact the ACM Coordinator for you state. The Coordinator and the participating institutions in your state will review the program’s curricula, course descriptions, and credit hour requirements. ACM guidelines stipulate that only those programs that differ by at least 50% in curricular content from those offered within your state may be included.
The review process varies from several months up to a year. Once the determination is made, staff from the State Coordinator’s office will notify the student if the program meets or does not meet eligibility for inclusion.
You can find contact information for your state Coordinator here.
