Frostburg State University (FSU), in alignment with the state of Maryland Teleworking Program, would like to announce the new policy for teleworking. This policy is strictly for non-union represented employees. Please find the attached Telework Policy, Regular Telework Agreement, Hybrid Telework Agreement, and Safety Checklist form for you to review.

FSU recognizes that telework opportunities may be mutually beneficial to university operations and to our staff. Eligibility for teleworking will be approved by the Vice President of the division based on the employee’s role and responsibilities.

FSU and AFSCME Council #3 are currently in negotiations, and as soon as an agreement is reached, the telework policy will be disseminated to collective bargaining unit members.
